AC Milan winger Samuel Chukwueze will be available for selection for the Super Eagles Friday against South Africa in a crucial 2026 World Cup qualifier.

Chukwueze emerged as a major injury doubt after he was forced out of training Tuesday by an ankle complaint.

Today, he played the entire training played behind closed doors.
Chukwueze scored the goal that eliminated South Africa at the 2019 AFCON in Egypt.

Today’s training started by 6pm and lasted two hours as coach Finidi George finalised on his starting XI against Bafana Bafana Friday night in Uyo.

Twenty players took part in the training with only Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye missing after he suffered flight hitch and was forced to fly down to Calabar before making it by road to Uyo today.
