Enugu — Kwara United Technical Adviser, Ashifat Suleiman, has expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance following their goalless draw against Rangers International in a matchday 11 encounter of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
Speaking after the match, Suleiman said his players executed their game plan effectively, earning a valuable point away from home.
“We were not able to get the three points, but we got something back home with the point. Our game plan worked well for us,” the coach stated.
The result extended the Harmony Boys’ unbeaten run to three matches, marking a steady recovery since their early-season struggles.
Suleiman also credited his team’s improved mentality to lessons learned from their continental campaign, noting that the players have developed greater focus and resilience.
“After the continental ouster, we improved on the mentality of our players, which really worked out for us, and we are benefitting from it,” he added.
“We will continue to work hard toward our target for the season.”
