KADUNA, Nigeria – April 19, 2025 – Niger Tornadoes have received a significant boost ahead of their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 34 clash against Bayelsa United, with the return of key players Papa Daniel, Ahmed Family, and Sabiu Ibrahim to the squad.
Daniel and Family rejoined team training after recovering from injuries, regaining full fitness. Meanwhile, Ibrahim returned from national duty with the Flying Eagles camp to link up with his teammates.
The Ikon Allah Boys are set to face Bayelsa United at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna on Saturday. Niger Tornadoes will aim to overturn their 4-1 loss to Bayelsa United in the reverse fixture earlier this season.
Currently, Niger Tornadoes sit 12th on the NPFL table with 43 points, while Bayelsa United hold the 10th spot with 45 points.
