Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, has announced his first-ever starting XI as Nigeria prepares to face Rwanda in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Kigali on Friday evening.

Chelle has opted for a strong attacking lineup, featuring the quartet of Victor Osimhen, Ademola Lookman, Moses Simon, and Samuel Chukwueze.
In midfield, Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi will control play, while Stanley Nwabali has been picked as the first-choice goalkeeper.
The defensive setup includes Ola Aina, Bright Osayi-Samuel, Calvin Bassey, and captain William Troost-Ekong.
