Arokodare, who earned his first-ever call-up to the Super Eagles under Chelle, said the coach’s belief in the players has given the squad a huge morale boost.

Speaking to Nigerian reporters in Kigali, the Genk striker highlighted the positive impact of Chelle’s leadership.

“The coach has brought a lot of confidence and has shown us how much belief he has in us. That is a huge boost for the team.

“He is a very confident coach with a plan—he knows what he wants and how he wants to play.

“When you are playing under a coach like that, you know exactly what you have to do. It is pretty simple and straightforward.”

The Super Eagles are yet to secure a win in their World Cup qualifying campaign.

They currently sit fifth in Group C, with only Zimbabwe below them in the standings.
