Manchester, UK – Lecce defender Patrick Dorgu has reportedly completed his £25.2 million transfer to Manchester United and is expected to be at Old Trafford on Sunday to watch the Premier League fixture against Crystal Palace.

According to Mail Sport, the 20-year-old arrived in the UK on Saturday to undergo a medical and has agreed to a five-and-a-half-year contract with the Red Devils.

Dorgu will become Ruben Amorim’s first signing at the club and will watch from the stands as United face Palace. Amorim identified the versatile left-back as a player capable of operating as a left wing-back, left winger, or even on the right-hand side.

United’s Transfer Plans
Manchester United have also added Arsenal centre-back Ayden Heaven to their squad as they continue their transfer business.

Following Dorgu’s arrival, the club had planned to send left-back Tyrell Malacia on loan to Benfica, but negotiations stalled due to a disagreement over the loan fee and buy-option valuation.

Additionally, United are looking to strengthen their attack as they work on finalizing Marcus Rashford’s loan move to Aston Villa before the transfer window closes.
