Napoli’s Stance on Osimhen’s Release Clause
Osimhen’s previous release clause was set at €120 million, but this amount was reduced in his latest contract extension. However, Napoli has made it clear that they will not agree to any further discounts under any circumstances.
- Reports indicate that Osimhen’s release clause for Galatasaray is €75 million.
- The club has already paid €6 million as a rental fee, making the total fee available to other clubs €81 million.
- By June 2025, Osimhen’s release clause is expected to be €75 million for all clubs.
Napoli’s Summer Transfer Plans
Napoli President Aurelio de Laurentiis is open to selling Osimhen but is waiting until the summer transfer window to make a final decision.
“Osimhen will complete the season on loan in Istanbul, and Napoli will evaluate his future in the summer,” De Laurentiis reportedly said.
Additionally, the sale of Kvaratskhelia for €70 million has provided Napoli with some financial breathing room, allowing them to take their time on Osimhen’s potential sale.
Osimhen’s Impressive Form at Galatasaray
So far this season, Osimhen has been in remarkable form, registering:
- 16 goals
- 5 assists
- 20 official matches for Galatasaray
With his exceptional goal-scoring record, Osimhen remains one of the most sought-after strikers in Europe, and his future will be a key storyline in the upcoming transfer window.
