Montpellier forward, Jerome Akor Adams, is set to complete his transfer to Spanish club Sevilla, with medicals scheduled for Saturday.

The two clubs have reportedly reached an agreement for the 24-year-old striker, with Sevilla paying €5.5 million for the former Nigeria junior international. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the details of the deal.

Akor, who joined Montpellier from Norwegian side Lillestrøm in 2023, has been a key figure for La Paillade this season, scoring three goals and providing one assist in 15 Ligue 1 appearances.

Once the deal is finalized, Akor will join fellow Nigerians Chidera Ejuke and Kelechi Iheanacho in Sevilla’s squad, further bolstering their attacking options.
