Social media star and boxer Jake Paul has claimed that critics of Donald Trump “hate America” following the 78-year-old’s inauguration for a second term as U.S. president on Monday.
Paul, a vocal supporter of Trump during the election, attended the ceremony alongside his brother, Logan, their mother, Pam, and UFC champion Conor McGregor.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) after the event, Paul criticized those opposing Trump’s presidency. “Any American who isn’t in support of Trump after this speech simply hates America and doesn’t want what’s best for this country and the world,” he wrote.
In a follow-up post, Paul called for unity, stating, “Today is about togetherness in every way. Fists down, unity up. Honored to be here. God Bless America.”
The Paul brothers, their mother, and McGregor were seen celebrating the occasion, even posing for a selfie aboard a bus en route to the inauguration.
