Chelsea have confirmed the departure of forward Zain Silcott-Duberry, who has joined fellow Premier League side Bournemouth on a permanent transfer during the January transfer window.
The West London club announced the transfer in an official statement on Friday, expressing gratitude for Silcott-Duberry’s contributions and wishing him well in his future endeavors.
“Zain Silcott-Duberry has completed a permanent transfer to Premier League side Bournemouth,” the statement read. “We would like to thank Zain for all his efforts while a Chelsea player and wish him the best as he begins a new chapter in his career.”
Silcott-Duberry, 19, joined Chelsea from Norwich City as an Under-13 player and rose through the ranks of the club’s Academy at Cobham. He signed his first professional contract with the Blues in August 2022 but has now moved on to seek new opportunities with Bournemouth.
The transfer comes ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League home clash against Wolves on Monday night.
